Booking and delivery
Can you deliver a porta potty today?
Same-day delivery is available when you call by 12:00 noon, Monday to Saturday. The unit arrives that afternoon in the Omaha and Council Bluffs metro. A $75 same-day fee applies.
What information do you need to book?
To book, we need the delivery address, the dates, the number of units or people, where the unit should go, a contact phone number, and any gate code. Payment is by card at booking.
Can someone else meet the driver?
Anyone can meet the driver, or no one at all. Give us a second contact name and number when you book, so the driver can call that person if the spot is unclear.
Will the driver call before arriving?
The driver can call or text about 30 minutes before arriving when you ask for it. Most people ask for the call when they want to show the driver the spot.
What time does delivery happen?
Deliveries run from 7 am to 7 pm. We cannot promise an exact hour, but we can request the earliest window for events that start early. Weekend event units arrive Friday.
Can you deliver the day before my event?
Units can be delivered the day before an event at no extra cost. For Saturday and Sunday events, delivery is always Friday so the unit is ready the night before.
Do you pick up on the day after the event?
Weekend event units are picked up on Monday. Weekday events are picked up the next business day. You do not need to be home for pickup.
Do I have to call for pickup?
Event rentals are picked up on the date in your booking, so you do not need to call. Long-term rentals stay until you call, and billing stops on the pickup date.
Can I book a porta potty online?
You can send the quote form on any page and we reply within 1 business hour. Calling is faster, and it is the only way to book same-day delivery.
Can I place the order under my company name?
Orders can be placed under a person or a company name. Commercial customers can ask for a certificate of insurance and invoices sent to their office.
Placement and access
Where do you want me to put the porta potty?
Choose a flat, firm spot the truck can reach within about 25 feet. Driveways, side yards, gravel pads and parking lots work best. Mark it with a cone, a chair or chalk, or text us a photo.
Is there anything the driver should know about?
Tell us about gate codes, locked gates, low-hanging wires, tree branches, parked cars, pets in the yard, soft ground and septic lids. Each one changes where or how the driver can place the unit.
Can the porta potty go behind a locked gate?
A porta potty can go behind a locked gate when you give us the code or leave it unlocked on delivery and service days. The service crew also needs access each week.
Can the porta potty go on grass?
A porta potty can sit on dry, level grass. It leaves a flat patch that recovers in a week or two. After heavy rain we may place it on the driveway to avoid ruts.
Can it go on a slope?
A porta potty must sit level or it can tip and leak. On gentle slopes we level it with blocks. On steep lots we pick the flattest spot the truck can reach.
Can you put a porta potty on the street?
A porta potty can go on a street only with city approval, because the street is public right-of-way. In Omaha that is Omaha Public Works. Most people use the driveway instead.
How close does the truck need to get?
The truck needs to stop within about 25 feet of the spot for a standard unit. Restroom trailers need a path at least 10 feet wide and room to back in.
Can you stake down the porta potty in wind?
We stake or tie down units in open fields and acreages on request, at no charge. Placing a unit beside a building, fence or tree line also helps in Nebraska wind.
Units and what is inside
What is a standard porta potty?
A standard porta potty is a single plastic stall with a toilet seat over a 60-gallon tank, a urinal, toilet paper, hand sanitizer and a vent. It needs no water or power.
Do you have porta potties with a sink inside?
We have standard units with a small sink inside and flushing units with a sink. Both use a foot pump and their own fresh-water tank. Neither needs a hookup.
What is a flushable porta potty?
A flushable porta potty has a foot-pump flush that rinses the bowl with clean water, so guests do not see the tank. It also has a sink. It costs more than a standard unit.
Do you have handicap porta potties?
We have wheelchair-accessible units with a ground-level floor, grab bars, a wide door and room to turn a wheelchair inside. They are about 7 feet square.
Do you have hand-washing stations?
We rent stand-alone hand-washing stations with two sinks, foot pumps, soap and paper towels. Set one beside the toilets when food is served.
Do you rent restroom trailers?
We rent 2-stall restroom trailers with flushing toilets, sinks, mirrors, lights and climate control. They need a level spot and a 110-volt outlet nearby.
Does the porta potty come with a lock?
Every unit has an inside door latch. For jobsites or public spots, ask for a hasp so you can add a padlock, and share the code with the service crew.
Does the porta potty have a light?
Standard units have a translucent roof that lets in daylight but no electric light. For night events, add a battery lantern outside or choose a restroom trailer with lights.
Do the units smell?
A clean, serviced unit has little odor. Each tank gets a deodorizer, and the roof vent pulls air out. Keeping the unit in the shade in summer helps.
Will a porta potty overflow?
A porta potty sized for its use does not overflow. Overflow happens when a unit serves too many people between services. We size counts and service schedules to prevent it.
Cleaning and service
How often is the porta potty cleaned?
Rentals longer than a week are cleaned once a week, included in the price. Event rentals arrive clean and stocked. Multi-day events get a service visit each night.
What happens during a service visit?
A service visit pumps the waste tank, adds fresh deodorizer, scrubs the seat, urinal, walls and floor, restocks toilet paper and sanitizer, and refills any sink water.
Can I get extra cleanings?
Extra cleanings cost $55 each and can be booked any weekday. Big crews and busy events often add a second weekly service.
Do you service units on weekends?
Service runs Monday to Saturday. Weekly services fall on the same weekday each week, so you can plan around them.
Do you pump out RVs or other tanks?
We focus on our own rental units. For RV or septic pumping, call a septic service. We can drop a unit while your septic is being worked on.
Pricing and payment
How much is a porta potty for one day?
A standard porta potty for a one-day event in the Omaha metro starts at $175, with delivery, pickup and a clean unit included. Weekend events cost the same because units drop Friday and come back Monday.
How much is a porta potty per month?
A standard porta potty costs from $160 per 28 days plus a one-time $65 delivery and pickup fee, with weekly cleaning included. Billing is every 28 days, not every calendar month.
Is the price the same for three days or one day?
Event pricing covers 1 to 3 days, so a Friday-to-Monday weekend costs the same as a single day. Longer rentals switch to the 28-day rate.
Do you charge a fuel fee or card fee?
We do not charge a fuel fee, card fee or environmental fee. Your quote lists the unit, delivery and pickup, any same-day or travel charge, and sales tax.
Is there a same-day fee?
Same-day delivery adds $75. Next-day delivery has no rush fee.
When do I pay?
Event rentals are paid by card at booking. Long-term rentals bill the first 28-day cycle at booking and each cycle after that.
Is tax included in the price?
Sales tax is added to the quote based on the delivery address in Nebraska or Iowa. The tax shows as its own line.
I'm on a budget. What is the cheapest option?
The cheapest option is a single standard porta potty. Skip the sink and use the hand sanitizer inside. For a short party, one unit covers about 35 guests with food.
Changes, cancellations and extensions
Can I cancel my porta potty order?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the delivery date for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours may carry a trip charge if the truck is already loaded.
Can I reschedule?
Rescheduling is free with 24 hours' notice. Call and we move the delivery date.
Can I add a sink or another unit later?
You can add a sink, a hand-washing station or more units up to the day before delivery. After delivery, the extra unit rides on the next service visit.
What if I need it longer than planned?
If you need the unit longer, just call. Event rentals roll into the 28-day rate. Long-term rentals continue in 28-day cycles until you call for pickup.
What if I need it for less time?
Long-term rentals end the day you call, and billing stops on the pickup date. There is no early-end fee.
Events, jobsites and rules
How many porta potties do I need for a party?
Plan 1 standard unit per 35 guests at a 4-hour party with food, and 1 per 50 guests with no food or drinks. Use the calculator on the sizing page for longer or bigger events.
How many porta potties for a construction crew?
OSHA Table D-1 requires at least 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers and 1 seat plus 1 urinal per 40 workers above that. We recommend 1 unit per 10 workers with weekly service.
Do I need a wheelchair-accessible unit?
Public events need at least 5 percent accessible units per cluster, and at least 1, under the 2010 ADA Standards. Private parties do not fall under that rule, but one helps older guests and families.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty?
A porta potty on private property usually needs no permit. A unit in a street, sidewalk or park needs approval from the city or park. Check with your city clerk.
Can I use a porta potty in winter?
Porta potties work in Omaha winters. We add salt brine or antifreeze to the tank, and you keep a path clear of snow. Hand-washing stations can freeze below about 28°F.
Can I put a porta potty at a church or school event?
Churches and schools rent units for picnics, festivals and outdoor services. Ask the property manager where outside vendors can park, and include an accessible unit for public events.
